Fixed-Term, Hours Variable Week to Week

This document is intended for fixed-term employees whose working pattern varies from week to week. Usually in accordance with a roster.

Generally their hours will balance out to roughly the same number of hours each week/fortnight/month. However, there may be significant variance week to week as a result of unusual work patterns such as working eight x 10 hour shifts per fortnight, or getting every third weekend off etc. For example, factory workers employed for seasonal production times, where 24 hour cover is required.
