Do the documents on this site cover my legal requirements?
Yes, the documents cover all your legal requirements as an employer.
How do I get access to the document library?
HRtoolkit’s document library is an online product, however you can purchase the document(s) you want in several ways:
- Pay online with a Credit Card (through Stripe) or set-up a Direct Debit
- Phone us at 0800 HRtoolkit or 09 302 9935 to discuss what options are best for you, we can sign you up over the phone and invoice you directly
- Purchase HRtoolkit through one of our partner arrangements
Once you have purchased a document it will be automatically e-mailed to you. If you have purchased full access to the library or a document package, a log-in password will be e-mailed to you for use over the next 12 months.
Legal jargon isn’t necessary. All the documents contained on this site meet your legal requirements, and have the added bonus of being written in plain English.
Will these documents be easy to download?
Yes we have set the documents up in both PDF and Microsoft Word for your convenience. If your Microsoft office package is prior to 2003 then you may have problems viewing these documents. In this case please call us on 0800 HRtoolkit or you can access the documents by installing a compatibility pack specifically designed for this purpose.

Can you guarantee I won’t be sued by an employee?
An employee always has the legal right to bring a grievance. However, if you follow the advice and templates in our document library, you will reduce the risk of an employee bringing a grievance and have a strong legal defence if they do.
Can I share these documents with others
Access to the document library is linked to your company and licensed for your company’s use only. Please refer to HRtoolkit terms and conditions of use for more information.
The document I want isn’t available, where can I get it?
