With effect from 1st April 2021 minimum wage will increase to $20 per hour which is a 5.8% increase against a projected CPI increase of 2.2% for 2021. For some this increase will put financial strain on the business, but you also need to consider how to manage those people for whom the pay gap between them and workers on minimum wage is being potentially erroded.
